Pop-up Eco Open Home in Bishopstone
Come and see the final stages of a deep retrofit and loft conversion of a 1960's bungalow in Bishopstone. There are the usual retrofit items, (triple glazing, external wall insulation) but check out the more unusual solutions; an air to water heat pump for domestic hot water also used for summer cooling, a homemade insulating cork screed and 8000 litres of rainwater storage for garden irrigation.
