With the COP26 climate talks now less than five months away, it’s time to build the pressure and press for a serious response to the climate emergency. A few days ago G7 leaders met by the beach in Cornwall, but it seems they’d left their ambition at home, particularly when it comes to climate finance. We cannot see this washout weekend followed by another damp squib in Glasgow.

London Climate Action Week, taking place online from 26 June to 4 July, is a great chance to create momentum behind proven and effective climate solutions. Ashden and partners will be running a host of free events highlighting low-carbon innovation in areas such schools, home retrofit, council procurement and community engagement, and sustainable cold chain
