We are delighted to announce that we have pre-registered up to 800kw of projects under the FIT exemptions for community owned solar projects. We are already in discussion with a number of schools about getting solar on their roofs in the upcoming half terms – or summer holidays. The schools will benefit from reduced rates on their fuel bills as well as reducing their carbon emissions as part of all our duties towards future generations. We will also provide the schools with additional benefits – our unique educational screens which link up to show the children what their school is generating and using, as well as allowing the school to put in their specific information about climate change.
We will be launching a share offer in the summer to finance the projects.
