Pop-up Eco Open Home in Bishopstone

Join us in Bishopstone for a Pop up Eco Open House!

Come and see the final stages of a deep retrofit and loft conversion of a 1960’s bungalow in Bishopstone. There are the usual retrofit items, (triple glazing, external wall insulation) but check out the more unusual solutions; an air to water heat pump for domestic hot water also used for summer cooling, a homemade insulating cork screed and 8000 litres of rainwater storage for garden irrigation. Heating will be by air-to-air heat pump. Venetia will give you a tour around the house and there will be a Q&A session afterwards.

There will be 2 tours on offer, one at 11am – 1pm and a second tour at 2pm – 4pm. Please choose your tour when booking.
