Pop-Up Eco Home in Seaford

Curious about how insulation really performs in a home?

Join us for a special pop-up eco house tour in Seaford, organised by OVESCO and hosted by Architectural Designer Carol Smyth of Design Hindover.

This session at Carol’s house is focused on thermal imaging.  Carol will open her home and show thermal imaging taken this March and compare to last year’s imaging. There will be a lively discussion of how to use a thermal imaging camera, a run through of the improvements made and what the camera is showing us, the performance of the house this winter and what work will be done next. Carol’s house has undergone a “deep” retrofit; external solid wall insulation, triple glazing and air tightness.

This is a relaxed, friendly tour where you can ask questions and learn from real-life experience.

It’s a great opportunity if you’re thinking about improving your own home, or simply curious about how homes can be made warmer and more energy efficient.
