Newick Food Fair is raising money for St Peters & St James.

Event Highlights:

• Over 25 food stalls
• Kid activities
• Delicious street food – this year there will be a BBQ run by the Newick Bonfire Society along with other street food stands
• New road show

This event is also welcoming the Travelling Future Roadshow

The Travelling Future Roadshow is visiting towns, villages and parishes across the Lewes District this summer to inspire, inform and entertain on issues related to climate change action.

Daphne Lambert of Greencuisine Trust is an eco-nutritionist, focusing on the interaction between agriculture, ecology and human nutrition. Through practical demonstration using local, seasonal foods, Daphne can show how we gain optimum nutrition, health & wellbeing being while natural resources.

MovingSounds

Moving Sounds is an arts-based CIC, passionate about transforming lives through creativity, they use participatory games, music, stories to engage audiences of all ages.

Ovesco is a key partner in looking at how we can find more sustainable solutions to our energy needs. Their energy champions will be avaliable for discussions, interactive information and advice.

Old Tree Soil 

Tom from Old Tree Brewery will be here to talk all things compost. Our compost education workshops teach children and young people how to make compost, what living soil is and the wildlife that calls it home. Find out about the Mycelium Composting Network!
